International Development & Education

The YMCA is a worldwide organization. There are YMCA's in over 100 countries around the world with 30 million participants from all social backgrounds, creeds, races and nationalities. As part of this global network, the YMCA of Kitchener-Waterloo raises awareness about global issues though its International Education and Development programs. We are staff driven and volunteer dependent.

Funding comes from many sources, including the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).
