Module 3 - Conclusion
CHOOSING THE RIGHT CAREER PATH
This final step enables newcomers to plan their career path using the "Career Map" outlined below.

The components can be numbered according to the newcomer's individual requirements, career choices and final goals. As opposed to an abstract plan, this serves to put the plan into an actual physical and visual format which can aid him/her in following and completing his/her goals.

  • How to Use the Plan Outline:
    • Print this page so that you have a hard copy of this form to work with
    • Review each component with the newcomer, as previously discussed in Modules 1, 2 and 3
    • Choose which components will be used
    • Number each component according to the order in which they will be followed
    • Advise the newcomer to use this "map" as a guide and plan a follow-up meeting(s) for a later date
    • At the follow-up meeting(s), review progress and discuss outcomes
    • For more information on individual components, click on specific icons

The table below will print as your second page
